Gold Medal: LI, YAN WA, Faculty of Medicine, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
Hello everyone! I'm Li Yan Wa, a 2025 graduate of the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery program at the Faculty of Medicine. I'm deeply honored to be a recipient of the President's Gold Medal and part of the inaugural class of clinical medicine graduates. I sincerely thank the Macau University of Science and Technology for its guidance, and especially the rigorous instruction of all the professors in the Faculty of Medicine, which has enabled me to embark on my medical journey fearlessly. The university has taught me not only knowledge but also the courage of a pioneer. This inspires me to continue pursuing my dreams and creating possibilities amidst the unknown. I would not be here today without the staunch support and encouragement of the staff and students I’ve encountered here at MUST. This award is an affirmation of our collective potential.
My time at MUST has taught me three core principles: Courage to take risks, Competence built through rigorous training, and Compassion that gives knowledge meaning. Chase your dreams unabashedly - Macao’s future is in your hands! Remember our university's spirit of “Yì Chéng Gé Wù”: to explore truth with sincerity and contribute to society with knowledge. I hope you will stay true to your original aspirations and shine in your fields, innovating, breaking new ground, and becoming leaders. Finally, may MUST continue to nurture talents and produce outstanding graduates far and wide, and I wish everyone continued success in pursuing their endeavors. Thank you!
Gold Medal: HE, DICHEN, School of Business, Bachelor of Business Administration
Hello, everyone! I am He Dichen, a graduate of class 2025 from the School of Business, majoring in Business Administration (Supply Chain Management). It’s my great honor and pleasure to be awarded the President’s Gold Medal by MUST this time.
Four years at MUST have been filled with warmth and growth. I’ll never forget those days in groups—when we brainstormed solutions, supporting each other through challenges. Also, I’ll always remember the patience of professors, who guided me from theories to research, step by step. The days in the School of Business Student Association are precious. We worked together from brainstorming event ideas to their actual implementation, and the sweat of teamwork has made the honors even more meaningful. My growth at MUST has never been a solitary journey; instead, it is the power of teachers and students working in harmony and companions walking alongside each other. Dear younger schoolmates, this fertile ground of MUST never fail to live up to every bit of passion and perseverance. May we all be guided by the principle of “Yì Chéng Gé Wù”, let our dreams grow into towering trees! Thank you!
